Ongata Royal Academy is a private primary school located in Kandisi, Ongata Rongai. The school admitted its first group of children in January 2011 and we’ve truly been blessed with more since. It was established as a result of a persistent desire and passion for children’s growth from its Directors, Mr. and Mrs. Mathu who are also teachers by profession. Their dream and vision was and still is to establish a school that has a unique approach to learning and teaching, to provide the young ones with the highest quality care, and to develop a school that would become a role model in its environment and the country as a whole. They also chose to make sure that they provide a healthy and safe environment for the children to play, learn and grow emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially with guidance from professional care givers, thus nurturing the whole person in all three dimensions of Mind, Body and Spirit.

We are constantly expanding the range of services offered, taking children of all ages. Our goal is to carefully educate and develop a fun way. We strive to turn the learning process.
We provide full day and boarding facilities from 7.30am to 5.00pm.
